The roof of a motel near the Monterey Regional Airport in California was damaged after a 75-pound passenger door of a Beechcraft King Air plane dropped onto it. The incident was only discovered 17 hours after it happened. Tile and sheeting were broken in a 10-square-foot portion of the roof. No one was injured according to officials.
