Roof it Forward is proud to announce its 2018 4th quarter donation to Camp Sunshine in the amount of $17,200. “It is exciting for us to see this amount steadily increase year over year,” stated ARAC Roof It Forward’s President John Phillips. “We have been blessed as a company and are committed to honoring that by giving back to the children in the communities we serve. Our Roof It Forward program is structured so that the more we grow, the more we give."
To date, Roof it Forward’s support has exceeded $181,000. The support does not stop with writing a check. Their employees and families also volunteer time by helping out at the camp and fundraisers throughout the year. On any given camp date throughout the summer, you will see Roof It Forward team members loading buses, checking in campers, and helping with luggage.
Camp Sunshine gives children with cancer the opportunity to just be kids again and to enjoy normal activities like swimming, horseback riding, arts and crafts, and making friends. Additionally, it provides a network of support made up of other families experiencing the challenges of fighting cancer.
