ARAC Roof It Forward, headquartered in Kennesaw, Georgia, announced it’s 2nd quarter donation to Camp Sunshine. A portion of every roof built by Roof It Forward goes to charities supporting children with cancer and organizations dedicated to finding a cure. The company wrote a check for $9,125.00 in July.
Over the past 1 1/2 years, Roof it Forward has given over $41,000 nationally to children’s charities and healthcare organizations supporting the communities smallest patients.
However, Roof It Forward’s involvement does not stop with writing a check. That isn’t the most rewarding part. This summer you could find any number of Roof It Forward employees and their families at the Camp Sunshine house helping load luggage onto buses and checking kids into camp.
“This is the most rewarding part of what we do”, stated Roof It Forward President John Phillips. “We get to see the look on their faces when the buses pull away for camp. We are blessed to be in a position to donate money but even more blessed to donate our time. And at the end of a long day, standing in the Camp Sunshine parking lot watching an SUV drive away with “Jordan is now cancer free” written in the back window......that’s when you realize – This is why we do what we do - why we chose charities supporting childhood cancer”.
Our company takes great pride in giving back to the communities we serve through our Roof It Forward program. We are committed to donating a portion of every dollar you spend with us to an organization promoting children’s cancer research, treatment and family assistance.
