NRCA recommends roof maintenance in spring and fall

The NRCA National Roofing Contractors Association recommends that roof components be inspected and maintained each spring and fall. Debris should be removed from gutters, while shingles, chimney and pipes should be inspected for deterioration or gaps. Walls and ceilings should also be checked for water damage, because it could indicate leaks in the roof.
